We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was very convenient, with tour pick-up points nearby and a Coles supermarket just across the street. We also found plenty of restaurants, including a great Thai place and a popular ice cream shop, within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the staff at reception were brilliant, providing us with a blanket when we asked. The hotel had a sociable atmosphere, but it wasn't overly loud, allowing us to sleep well with earplugs and an eyemask. We also appreciated having an elevator to help with our luggage and to avoid any party noise when returning to the hotel at night.
Absolutely nothing.

The location of the hotel was central and convenient, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Having a supermarket opposite the hotel was especially handy for breakfast supplies. The staff at the hotel were outstanding and made us feel very welcome throughout our three-week stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always friendly and helpful.
The dampness in the rooms, which caused our clothes to become wet from condensation. The beds were also quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I got great value for the money I spent at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and I had my own private toilet. The location was perfect, with lots of tour pick-up points nearby and a supermarket right across the street. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check out a little later when my partner was running late. Thanks to the sociable atmosphere, I made some great friends during my stay.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had a bigger selection of breakfast options.

The dormitory room at Mom Darwin was great! It had a cozy dining area where we could enjoy our meals together. The tea/coffee maker was a nice addition, allowing us to start our mornings with a warm cup of coffee. And the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days in Darwin. we felt comfortable and at home in the room.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the tea/coffee maker. But hey, that's just my preference.

The location was ideal, right in the city center, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. the staff was very helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. There were also quiet areas available for those seeking a relaxing and peaceful environment.
Cleanliness seemed to be an issue throughout the hotel, with dirty rooms, unclean bathrooms, and a general lack of cleanliness in the common areas.

I was pleasantly surprised during my stay at Mom. The room was clean and tidy, and I was lucky to have a room right across from the female bathroom and showers, which were always clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, although I only used it for basic cooking. The location of the hostel was great, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The hostel also had a lift to the upper floors, which was convenient. I had a decent stay at Mom Darwin.
Although the beds were creaky and the mattresses were thin, I didn't expect much more from a hostel. One of the receptionists seemed impatient and rude with guests, but was pleasant with people she seemed to know.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is centrally located, making it easy to access all the major attractions and shops in the area. Plus, the reception staff were super friendly and helpful, always willing to provide information and assistance. Another great aspect was the clean and refreshing pool. It was the perfect place to relax and cool off after a day of exploring.
I must mention a couple of negative aspects. There were not enough pans and pots, and the fact that you had to rent dishes at the reception was a bit of a hassle, especially for short-term stays.

I stayed at Mom for a short overnight stay and it was perfect for my needs. The location was great and the 24hr desk made my late check-in a breeze. The friendly reception staff made me feel welcome and the kitchen, although you have to hire crockery and cutlery for $10, was clean. The mattress was comfy, the shower was hot, and the room was spacious - everything I needed for a restful stay.
I do recommend this hotel.

The dormitory room at Mom Darwin was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy dining area where I could enjoy my meals and the tea/coffee maker was a real lifesaver for my morning caffeine fix. The air conditioning was a blessing in the hot weather and made my stay super comfortable. As someone who appreciates simple comforts and convenience, I couldn't have asked for more!
If I had to nitpick, I would say that the only downside was that the tea/coffee maker could have been a bit faster. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others would still love it!
